Have your own website about something that you like? In that case, you could earn money from different forums. Engage in discussions debates, place links to your site, gain traffic. Traffic is equal to money!

Perform searches on Google or any other major search engine on “forum” plus the topic that your site is all about. You should find a couple of respectable forums. You may also try different websites that have their own forums with many topics.

Most forums require that you signup to them, providing your e-mail address. You’ll have to choose a username and password. After that you can setup your profile and your signature file. Signature files are very important, because they will be placed after each post that you make, and they are valuable links to your site. After registration, look through the forum and make posts to different topics, to any topics, just to get used to it.

Most forums have a so called “Introduction area” where you can introduce yourself and talk about you and your business that you are involved with. Post replies to the other member’s introduction.

Earn from Forums

The main reason of making replies in forums is to get visitors to your site. Of course, it is relaxing to get in discussions and talk about topics that interest you, but that is not your primary object!

A few steps to follow, when posting to forums:

- Each and every time link to your site. Check if they permit any links and take advantage of them. Make sure that your signature file is setup!              

- do not “spam”. Usually the self promotion posts are removed, unless they are allowed in special sections of the forums. Provide answers to questions, offer solutions to the problems different members are facing, state your view about things and in the same time link to your site!
- ask assistance from other members! That is an efficient and adequate method to “promote”. Create a thread, like “Could you help me?” and ask something like: “I have a site, but I am not getting enough traffic. I am kind of new regarding website promotion and I was wondering if you could help me with some advice how to drive massive traffic to it. Any useful tip will be highly appreciated” Place a link to your website. Most of the time, everybody love to offer responses and share their experiences.                                                                                            
- take a look at the total views a thread got. Make posts in the threads that have greater view numbers or just start a new thread with a similar topic. Always go where traffic is and get your share from it.

I must say, that initially I had my doubts regarding the effectiveness of forums, but after I started using them and get results, I was completely convinced and I am using forums more and more even since. Just remember: be respectful, offer useful answers and advices, make quality posts, while placing links to your site. Start discussing, be a regular forum poster and earn money day after day!
